Clear Crystal Skies

There’s a lot I don’t really know,
And true, it’s something I can’t
Find today, but tomorrow…
Give up? No I shan’t.

There’s a lot of thing I haven’t seen, today or in all the years I’ve spent.
But that’s okay with me, I’ll see them when I need to.
The golden waves of wheat are caught in the horizon, sunlight bent.
And things will keep growing, living, even if I didn’t do all I couldn’t do.

Because eventually, destiny comes and brings happiness.
The joys of life, sparks!
Whatever fate has in store, you can always rely it brings
A future, good or bad, which is why…

I keep starin’ at those clear crystal skies and I know it,
Time has told me one too many secrets which is why
I keep starin’ those crystal skies and I love it,
Time has said too many things, which is why

There’s a heart in everything you don’t know, and do know
You might have to look hard, but it’s there,
You might have to smell keenly, but it’s there
No matter where you go, it follows you.

Just like those clear crystal skies, it’s in your eyes,
I know it’s in mine too, I’ve seen all that can be seen.
Just look at us, beyond all the disagreements and lies
There’s a future, might bring bad or good, but it’s there, good as green.

There’s a heart in everything you don’t know, and do know
You might have to taste the spice of life, but it’s there
You might have to open both ears wide, but it’s there
No matter where you go, it follows you, me.

We’ve tried to do everything to escape the inevitable, but
We’re in love and nothing we can do stop it.
So I guess in the midst of all this,
I’m asking you one simple question
One that will bond us forever.

Under these clear crystal skies, I keep starin’
Time has told me one too many secrets which is why
There’s a heart in everything you don’t know, an do know
You might have to look hard, but it’s there,
You might have to smell keenly, but it’s there
You might have to taste the spice of life, but it’s there
You might have to open both ears wide, but it’s there.

Can you feel fate, bending
To the will of the skies?
Crystal clear, just like us two.
Take my hand and we’ll travel to that horizon.
Where the skies end and dawn meets us, the warmth of the earth
Blessing everything it touches
Taste, smell, hear, see, feel
Crystal clear skies, keep moving
