The Letter
By Tom Stanley

Folded amongst the papers,
The scattered memories;
Ink; like a blue tinged dream,
Splayed on crumpled page,
The forgotten remnants of a life.
Blame flew like arrows of flame;
But now, the whos and whys are left in the distance;
Words lose meaning, falling by the wayside,
A collage of pain painted across my vision,
The simple reminders of the life I had,
In the tear stained letter.
