PIKMIN 2
System: GameCube
Genre: Strategy, Action Platformer
Difficulty: Moderately High
Score: 10/10
Pikmin 2 is based on earth and you basically go around and get treasure
(which is our junk, coins, rings, bottle caps etc..) you also get to
battle giant monsters (bulborbs) as they try to eat your pikmin friends!
and when you do kill the monsters your pikmin haul it back to the onion
(your base) and it gets turned into more pikmin! its genius...
Graphics 10/10
Graphics are amazing the pikmin look so lifelike and the water effects are
really good..
Sounds 10/10
What else is better than sneaking up on a snoring bulborb and waking it up
with a hail of pikmin screaming as they pound on its back mercilessly and
the bulborb wakes up and starts munching them down like there the most
delicious things hes ever eaten! and you hearing there souls float up...
what else is there to say about the sounds besides ''perfection''
Storyline 7/10
When you arrive back home (planet hocatate) you find that your company has
gone out of bussiness so you must return to earth and find treasure to pay
your bosses massive debt... the storyline is a bit cheesy but the gameplay
and new levels completely nulls it all out..
Gameplay 9/10
The controls were spot on... although it was irritating trying to seperate
your pikmin sometimes...(when you touch one it follows you automatically
which made it annoying sometimes when you needed certain pikmins)
Replayability 5/10
You probably wont be playing through this game more than once as its a
very long game, its not near over after the storyline is done theres still
tons of caves to explore and treasure to find!
Overall 9/10
Great game i love everything about it! i dont know how they made those
little pikmin so vicious but so cute at the same time...
